BEAUTIFUL PAGES


The pages of creation reveal the very essence of living. “Let Us make man in Our Image, after Our Likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the Earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the Earth.”
Who could create us with such good intentions but God.  His thoughts towards us are flawless, undying, full of goodness, but the question is:  how do we know these thoughts when we do not search the Bible - (God’s thoughts, expressed through His Words)?
Look at what is exclaimed about us in Psalm 8:4 “What is man, that You are mindful of him? and the son of man, that You visit him?” Each time I ponder on that scripture, I see affection, concern, sympathy, extravagant love showered on us by God.
We have great privileges, abundant promises, direction, all wrapped up in the Word of God, but how do we access these privileges if we do not stay committed to the study of these words and allow the Spirit of life, the Holy Spirit, to lead us into accessing the blessings and realities in The Word.?
The Word reveals Christ, The Word is Christ. Revelation 19:13 “And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in Blood: and His Name is called The Word of God”
Oh the wonderful things in the word; the journey of mercy, the glamour of life, the essence of beauty, the good news of living, the message of Christ. There are depths to understand and we are thirsty, but how do we plunge into deep waters and quench our thirst, because the only answer to all of life is and will ever be in The Word.
Knowing we have these great treasures available for us in the Bible, I think the right attitude is to pay attention to getting hold of these treasures through fervent study of the word by the guidance of the Holy Spirit, then we will not live and die in ignorance, without living in the realms of possibilities made available through The Word.
 Do you know that in Christ, we have a goodly heritage and If you are not committed to studying The Word, you will likely not be able to access them? God’s Word is a Lamp unto our feet, and a Light unto our paths. Psalm 119:105

  Saturday was going to be the d-day and I prepared 'so hard' in my little way for it; my dad had bought for me a compilation of past questions in Mathematics, English and General knowledge and I didn't want to miss my chance. I read and even burned the mid-night candle as a child in preparation for the entrance examination.  The school was certainly my dream school at that time, my school friends and I really wanted to be admitted into the school.
