Listen to the news and you will confirm that bad things happen even to good people, What did that innocent 6 year old girl do to deserve being raped by her step father or the girl who was ganged raped and is now struggling with a son whose father she doesn't know, how can she explain to the whole world it was not because of her lasciviousness. Her identity is hunted, everyone thinks she is loose, they think she is facing the consequences of her carelessness. How unjust. You find people here and there with so much burden, pain, sorrows. So how do I convince you that there is joy, laughter, peace, love, happiness. How can I tell you that you can #LiveTheAbundantLife , that you can live your life to the fullest regardless of what pain you have gone through, the mess you are in right now or whoever must have caused the pain. Will you believe me? I have seen people come out strong after stormy seasons of their lives, I have also seen people who allowed experiences drain them away, they allowed their pain, mistakes, grief define their whole lives and that's really pathetic. See, I know it is really not easy to bounce back after a traumatic experience. All the pains, loss, disappointments, they would be real to you and that's why it is needful to #TakeOutTimeAndHeal. Don't be tempted to pretend like you are fine, no! That will be trying to bury the living. Be sincere about your feelings, about your life, be deliberate about your healing and move ahead to the better side of life. You hear some people say "I will never get married because I was abused", " I will never do this because of that", they have their list of never-do's, they have let their pain define them, they have allowed their experiences limit them from living life to the fullest. If one is once bitten, one should be twice shy right? Let wisdom guide you. There is life beyond the bad things you feel life has thrown at you.   Saturday was going to be the d-day and I prepared 'so hard' in my little way for it; my dad had bought for me a compilation of past questions in Mathematics, English and General knowledge and I didn't want to miss my chance. I read and even burned the mid-night candle as a child in preparation for the entrance examination.  The school was certainly my dream school at that time, my school friends and I really wanted to be admitted into the school.
