LEARNING THROUGH SEASONS

LEARNING THROUGH SEASONS
Earlier this morning, I strolled around my house smiling like someone that just received a million dollar alert,  as I thought of  you, the joy in my heart was worth more than any amount of money one can think of,  you see why I couldn't just wait but write to you?
I told you in the previous post (New Moments) about how eager I was to move over to the boarding house and I promised to share with you lessons that I learnt through that phase of life.
Believe me, boarding house wasn't easy as I thought it would be. Within the first few weeks; I finished the biscuits, milk, and was left with almost nothing, I became a school daughter to the school mother I never wanted, I became unnecessarily pressured for my inability to say no! and yes! when I needed to. So you see, I was exposed to the real life and I was actually  not prepared to face it. Life tried my identity, convictions, and strength and I failed in most parts. I remember how I followed a friends advice and got into a mess I couldn't recover from throughout my stay in the school. Unfortunately, my friend had left for another school after our JSS1 but I had to live with the consequences of my decision. I struggled with guilt, self esteem, and could not take a stand for my life. Yet,God had planned a good time for me over there.
You remember what  He said to Prophet Jeremiah in Jeremiah 1:5? He said "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I ordained you a prophet unto the nations"
My flaws were numerous and I couldn't run from them. My inadequacies were obvious yet, God had known me even before my parents thought about me, and His plans for me from the beginning are certain and good.
That's the same way He knows all of us by our names and is out to make our lives better, my life didn't just get better, God took me through processes until the victory was completely mine.
I will tell you how He got me out of all the things I had  been entangled with, I will show you the pathway to victory because, the struggles may also be so real for you. I know what it means to go through such struggles, I know how it feels to be in the mess you ignorantly accepted and now there seem to be no way out.
If this means anything to you,  cheer up and let's begin the journey towards victory. Every post will address different issues in our lives as teenagers and will equip us to become whole and effective. I have learnt lessons through seasons of my life, I learn and grow daily and through regrets, I've had numerous victories. You want to find out how this was possible? You want to know how your life can be much better than it is today? It took an encounter with Christ and the willingness to learn through those seasons.  Think about what you do with your experiences, however bad or good. Think about the effect of those experiences in your life today.
What is your new resolve about learning from your own experiences? Please share so we could learn and grow together.
Much Love
