TO THAT BROKEN TEENAGER


I heard the call again, and the tears you shed at night wouldn’t let me…
 I felt the pain that pierced your heart and even the sorrow that accompanied every pump of it, I could also feel.
I know what it means to be broken, to be in despair, to feel like you’ve lost out of everything, including your place in redemption.
 I know how it feels when heaven seem locked up over you, I’ve been there before. We know God cannot leave us, but sometimes we need reassurance and mercy.
We were once excited, assured, secured, confident but suddenly it feels like the source where we got our confidence suddenly ran dry. The foundation on which we stood firm seem wobbly, we are pained, confused and where is the strength we once boasted in?
Time and again we can find ourselves in down times, however I want us to remember that Romans 8:35-39 will forever remain true.
Love may be the last thing you would want me to talk about, especially when many times it had failed you, I feel it too, believe me I understand.
I've gone through pain in the quest for love and trust and I know the pain and feeling of “love let me down". But I dare to continue to tell you about love; It’s mending, it’s accepting. I got to know about this kind of love that takes me to a different sphere of confidence and absolute trust. You know what I mean when I talk about trusting wholly the person whom you love and knowing the person believes in you too.
 I heard it from the beginning, " Jesus loves me this I know, for the bible tells me so" it's a song I heard from childhood, but couldn't fathom the depth of the love as at that time, not yet in its fullness, for this love is greater than all.
 God's love that beats the insurmountable, that forgives completely, one you find no grudge or pain, we are safe in Him, wrapped in His embrace this is the kind of love proven true than any other. It is the love of the father towards us; freely given yet we have to accept Him without dispute and fear.
 I hope you identify and be cuddled in the depth of that love today and always; the Love of Jesus that shows us the way from despair and comforts us from all wrongs.
So this is my greatest desire to that broken teenager who have been through a lot, one who have been down casted, troubled, pained, confused and have been there for a while; My desire is that you find this Love that is able to close the gaps and heal your broken heart. This Love of Jesus.
Right where you are mutter words to Him, tell him how much you need Him and tell Him to show the way to experience true love

  Saturday was going to be the d-day and I prepared 'so hard' in my little way for it; my dad had bought for me a compilation of past questions in Mathematics, English and General knowledge and I didn't want to miss my chance. I read and even burned the mid-night candle as a child in preparation for the entrance examination.  The school was certainly my dream school at that time, my school friends and I really wanted to be admitted into the school.
